Brook Taverner factory biomass installation in the news

Yorkshire Heat Pumps' recent installation of a 199kW pellet boiler at the Keighley factory of historic Harris Tweed clothing company, Brook Taverner, has been in the news this week.

The Telegraph and Argus ran a piece in Thursday's business pages and online entitled 'Green heat system is tailor made'  and they couldn't have been more right!

The installation is saving the company over £19,000 per year in fuel costs and is delivering a mighty CO² saving of over 162 tonnes per year. What's more, through financial incentives under the non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive scheme the company will see the system pay for itself in under four years, with RHI payments continuing for a further 16 years.

What's not to like about that?
