There are winners and losers, but probably no surprises as DECC make announcements this week about RHI tariff changes coming into effect on January 1st 2016.
Biomass is the biggest loser with degressions announced in both the domestic and non-domestic schemes, but meanwhile ground and air source heat pumps and solar thermal remain unscathed.
Other than this, only biomethane sees a degression under the non-domestic scheme with a 10% drop.
Domestic RHI tariffs (pence per kW hour):
Technology | Current tariff | Tariff from 1st Jan | % change |
Biomass | 6.43p | 5.14p | -20% |
